Dumbing down the app?

The old filters gave the user far more options for filtering. You could filter for specific aircraft manufactures with just one or two characters. For example if I want to see all Ilyushin or Antonov types I could simply filter by IL or AN. This is not possible anymore. Not to mention those manufacturers are not even listed in the new aircraft type list, along with almost any business jet type. Part of the fun of the FR24 app was looking for uncommon, unusual, or new aircraft types. The new filters are useful for only the most popular aircraft types. Bring back the old filters!
